The Superbook Tour Comes to the Philippines

July 2017

We’re really excited to share some recent news of what has been happening through Superbook in the Philippines. This month, the Superbook team started  partnering with schools, churches and organisations in bringing God’s message of love and salvation to children and their families around the Philippines through the Superbook Caravan.

The Superbook Caravan is a a mobile truck that will tour around the Philippines giving the children the opportunity to come onboard and watch their favourite Superbook episodes. It’s an exciting and accessible way for children to experience Superbook without having to pay to go to a Superbook event. Really, the heart behind such an initiative is to give children from across the Philippines, from different backgrounds the chance to hear more about Jesus through this fun and interactive take on the Bible.

The first ever stop took place this month. Over 200 children gathered in Marilao, Bulacan to watch their favourite Superbook episode on a mobile LED truck. Kids played exciting Superbook games that tested their knowledge of the Bible and got the chance to act as Superbook character themselves in Superbook Live! Along with their favourite friendly robot Gizmo, they sang “The Salvation Song” at the top of their lungs. At the end of the day, the children along with their friends took photos with Gizmo and brought home memories of fun and adventure, and many valuable lessons, that they will keep in their hearts for years to come.

If you are interested in being a part of what Superbook is doing, you can sign up to become a Superbook Partner at https://superbookshop.wpengine.com/superbook-project/.
