Summer Fun in the UK!

August 2016

Music, Bible, Skate, Family. These are the pillars of the Cornwall-based FREE Christian festival, Creation Fest. It began in 2002, in North Devon as a one-day event and over the years, as it’s popularity has grown, it has moved to the Royal Cornwall Show ground and is now a jam-packed seven-day festival!

CBN Europe were invited to join the party this year; we sent some of our Superbook team and a film crew. It was a fantastic time of fellowship and praise, and it was incredibly humbling to work with volunteers from all over the world who were giving their time and talents so passionately to see lives changed here in the UK.

Superbook spent time each afternoon in the kids tent showing episodes and playing games. It was such a blessing to see the children, many of whom are not from church backgrounds, responding to the stories with joy and wonder. We taught the salvation dance and on the last day Gizmo himself turned up to the celebrations! Hearing from individual children about how God has transformed their lives highlighted our purpose as a ministry and was refreshing for the office-based team.

Our film crew were able to interview many of the artists and speakers as well as get involved with the back-stage action, so stay tuned to CBN Europe and find out when our brand new tv show will be airing!

If you and your family want to go to a festival where balloon rides, face painting, inflatables, falconry, a skate park, water fights, bonfires and BBQs are simply the backdrop to an incredible move of God, then visit www.creationfest.org.uk to book your place for 2017!
